Delee Suction Argyle Catheters are widely used for suctioning newborn puppies. These catheters are sterile, disposable and include a suction DeLee with 20 cc (ml) mucus trap, whistle-tip catheter and suction tube with molded mouthpiece.
Small flexible ends allow great precision to get the suction where it is most needed. Mouth piece allows you to easily control the pressure applied. Works so much better than bulb syringing. Mucous goes into the reservoir trap instead of into your mouth. Cap can be removed to clean and use again if needed, although sterile use is recommended.

The tube with the mouthpiece is for your mouth. The tube with the holes on the end is for the puppy’s mouth, throat, or nostrils. The trap prevents fluid from entering your mouth as you apply suction.
1 Insert puppy’s tube in puppy’s mouth, and tube with mouthpiece in your mouth.
2 Apply suction, as you would with a soda straw, to draw fluid out of the puppy.
3 Position and re-position the tube as required to draw out all fluid, including behind the tongue.
4 Disassemble and wash with hot, soapy water. We recommend using Thieves Dish Soap for safety with newborns. Air-dry before reassembly.
