Feed your litters using our branded “Flying Saucer” food
bowl. Designed by breeders for breeders,
this bowl is made of food grade stainless steel. Lightweight and rust resistant, yet sturdy
enough to handle a large litter of puppies or kittens.
Flying saucer design – the raised center provides stability
while spreading your babies out to eat.
The center also prevents youngsters from walking across the food dish. Once
placed in front of the bowl, most puppies and kittens eat without stepping into
food.
Dishwasher safe. These bowls fit in
almost any dishwasher! Over the years we
have tried many different bowls for feeding puppies, and those made for larger
litters have never fit in our dishwasher.
These bowls have been carefully sized so that even the large size fits
vertically in most dishwashers. What a
convenience when you’re feeding 3 to 4 times daily!
Great for weaning, slow feeding older animals, and feeding
kibble or raw diet.
Sizes:
Small – 10”X10” diameter. Sides approximately 1.25”
tall. Holds about 4 cups of liquid.
Great for smaller litters or small to medium sized breeds. Weighs approximately 10 ounces
Large – 13”X13”. Sides approximately 1.5” tall. Holds about 7 cups of liquid. Great for larger litters or medium to large sized
breeds. Weighs approximately 1 pound.
SAFETY INFORMATION: These bowls are made of SS304 food grade stainless steel. This is the type of stainless recommended by Dogs Naturally Magazine for feeding pets if you are choosing stainless material. Always wash your pet dishes in a dishwasher with hot water prior to first use to remove any factory residue.
INSTRUCTIONS:
To introduce youngsters to The Dog Breeder Store Flying Saucer food bowl, place each puppy or kitten at the edge or the bowl individually at
first. It helps to hold his/her body
steady so they don’t fall forward into the milk or gruel at first. Sometimes you may need to slightly dip the
end of the baby’s mouth into the food (avoiding nose). See our weaning video on The Dog Breeder
Channel for more tips on weaning.
For weaning, we recommend either raw goat milk or our DIY
Immunity Formula (found in the articles section of the store). Kibble feeders can make a gruel out of very
moistened kibble as well.
PRO TIP – Purchase some salon-style plastic hair caps to
stretch over the top of either size bowl.
These can be used and reused to put your bowl of partially eaten food
into the refrigerator to use later!
