Real-world experiences from pet parents and humans using the Homeopathic Snake Bite Kit

Rattlesnake Bite (Dog)
A dog was bitten by a rattlesnake and collapsed almost immediately. The pet parent had our Snake Bite Kit and began dosing the indicated remedies. Within minutes, the dog was able to stand and walk, though still very ill.
Because rattlesnake venom commonly causes internal bleeding, we strongly wished the pet parent had additional crisis supplies on hand—specifically lactated Ringer’s solution, a port and needles for subcutaneous administration, and Yunnan Baiyao.
A mobile veterinarian arrived, administered lactated Ringer’s and the Yunnan Baiyao red pill, and left the box of capsules with the pet parent. The dosing instructions provided were extremely conservative. Our pharmacist had previously given different guidance for dogs, so we shared that information—while clearly stating that we cannot advise anyone to deviate from their veterinarian’s instructions without consulting them first.
Once the dosing frequency was adjusted to match what the Yunnan Baiyao pharmacist typically recommends for dogs, the dog’s internal bleeding slowed and then stopped.

POST SURGICAL BLEED OUT
We have used Yunnan Baiyao with our own dogs post surgery when sutures failed to hold and our boxer, Grace, was bleeding out on our back patio. After putting a pressure bandage on the wound, the Red Pill was administered. Within a few minutes, her uncontrolled bleeding had nearly stopped. DURING SURGERY
Our holistic vet often uses Yunnan Baiyao during surgery when she has bleeders that she cannot locate before closure. She sprinkles the YB in the area of the bleeds, waits for the bleeding to cease, then closes.
